Our primary purpose is to
stimulate interest and participation in the activities
of the Maryland Yacht Club. We organize and sponsor fun,
social activities such as theme parties, dances, crab
feasts and pig roasts. The profits from these functions
help defray Club expenses and help keep our annual dues
as low as possible. For 50 years the Auxiliary has
played a very important role in the operation and
enhancement of the Club. We lend our artistic talents by
helping to decorate for our Opening Weekend and the
Commodore’s Ball. We have donated funds for
beautification day, purchased pool furniture, and most
recently helped fund a significant portion of the new
patio awning. The Auxiliary also donates to several
charitable organizations.
Meet new friends, become
involved, and make a difference. This organization
welcomes women and men for an annual membership of $25.
