2016 Queen of the Chesapeake – Kylee Mills
Kent Island Yacht Club
Hi everyone! My name is Kylee Mills and I am your 2016 Queen of the Chesapeake. It was such an honor to compete and win the crown during the 69th Queen of the Chesapeake pageant. Being Kent Island Yacht Club’s princess was an amazing experience and it has only gotten better since my reign as Queen began.
Outside of being involved with the yacht club community, I attend Queen Anne’s County High School where I have maintained a 4.0 GPA. In addition, I am the 2019 Class President and highly active in our school’s SGA and the Interact club, which focuses on support within the local community.
Throughout my reign as Queen I want to make a serious impact on the yacht club community and promote the princess program overall to other young girls who may be interested in running for princess and competing in the pageant. I have gained skills that will benefit me throughout the rest of my life and I want other girls to have the opportunity to this remarkable experience. During my reign, I plan on working with the CASA of Baltimore to help raise money and spread awareness to the charity.
I am so grateful for all of the love and support that I have received from my family and the yacht club community. I can’t wait to see all that is accomplished during my reign.
